Have you ever thought about trying a triathlon, but were too intimidated? "Try a Tri for Presley" is a short event and made just for people who'd like to give it a try but can't do long distances. This sprint triathlon is only a ⅓ mile swim (12 laps), 7 mile bike in a nearby neighborhood and 2 mile jog around the Shadow Cliff neighborhood. The event will take place on Saturday, July 29 and supports a great cause!
Long-time Shadow Cliff member, Presley Hare, was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments. We, as a Shadow Cliff community, are rallying behind the Hare family by raising funds for their extensive medical bills.
Will you join us by participating as an individual or as a 3-person team (come on ... almost anyone can swim 12 laps OR ride a bike OR run a couple of miles), volunteering, or making a donation? To support the event in any way or to participate, simply click here. Please feel free to spread the word!
Congratulations to our Shark Swim Team!
Shadow Cliff placed 3rd in the AAAA-NE Championship meet despite having the fewest entries of the five teams in their division. There were many highlights to the meet including our 2nd place finish in Points per Entry. Shadow Cliff has some fast swimmers!
Our growing team had a fabulous year with four home meets, many swim-team spirit events and even a visit from gold-medalist, Josh Davis. We had such an exciting year, we are already looking forward to next summer! Keep an eye out for registration in March 2018. For more info visit our team page at SCSharks.swimtopia.com
Shark Cafe could use a few more volunteers to make sure we can keep the grill open Fridays through July. Please sign up!
